The County Armagh contingent of the Saint Patrick's day parade time of assembly will be at 12:15pm. Place of assembly will be at East 45th Street between Madison and Vanderbilt Avenues. We will be lined up directly behind the First Unit In the Block. Behind us will be the New York Minor Board & The Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) of New York. We encourage people to get to the location no later than 11:45am. If you are from County Armagh and are in town please join us.
REMINDERS:
Each organization must enter the Parade only from its designated Formation Sheet that
is listed here and in the Official Program. No Organization is permitted to enter the Parade from the sidewalks of Fifth Avenue.
Organizations must line up between the above door numbers on the Street assigned and
march in the sequence listed above. Only Organizations that have been invited to march and are affiliated with the Parade are permitted to march or display their banner. This rule is STRICTLY enforced.
Please supervise the last row of marchers in your unit. DO NOT ALLOW "side-walk-stragglers" to fall in behind them. Any marcher exhibiting improper behavior will be removed. Do not attract unfavorable comments from spectators and news reporters by allowing "UNDESIRABLES" to join your ranks from the sidewalk while you are marching. Protect your good name.

1. All units must have two (2) flags. Irish & American flags or no flags at all. NO EXCEPTIONS! An American flag on the right and an Irish flag on the left.
2. A minimum of eight (8) abreast. Ten (10) if room is available. A unit with 250+ members MUST march 10 abreast.
3. Two (2) marshals of each marching unit should bring up the rear.
4. The only banners allowed are ones identifying the unit or "England Get Out of Ireland". Only one banner for each unit. NO EXCEPTIONS!
5. Green hats, sneakers, or other "odd ball dress" is not permitted.
GAA /TEAM SHIRTS ARE PROHIBITED
6. No animals or mascots ARE FORBIDDEN,
7. No eating, drinking, or smoking in the Line of March.
8. No displays of any kind will be permitted.
9. Units should make sure they are in proper formation before approaching Fifth Avenue.
10. After units get on Fifth Avenue, no stragglers should be allowed to join the unit.
Unit marshals should be on the alert for this at each intersection. Please be vigilant.
11. Leaders of organizations shall not delay the Parade by leaving their places for any purpose.
12. Shirts with advertising are NOT an appropriate form of dress. No children's pull or push wagons permitted.
13. Please remember, you are on Fifth Ave. for one hour once a year and you should march with pride in your heritage and dress accordingly. BUSINESS DRESS CODE IS REQUIRED.
14. Given recent protests in New York, in the event there is a protest on Fifth Avenue, no one is to engage protesters, that is the job of the NYPD.
